This role is perfect for an individual with 2+ years of safety experience, ideally within utilities, oil & gas, or electrical environments.

The Safety Specialist will support health, safety, and environmental initiatives, ensuring a safe work environment across the company’s operations.

Key Responsibilities : Implement and enforce safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments at various facilities to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.Develop and deliver safety training sessions for employees and contractors, covering topics such as hazard communication, emergency response, and equipment operation.Investigate and document safety incidents, near-misses, and accidents, providing detailed reports and recommending preventive measures.Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.Maintain and analyze safety data, preparing reports on safety performance metrics and identifying trends for continuous improvement.

Qualifications : 2+ years of experience in a safety-focused role within utilities, oil & gas, electrical, or related industries.Knowledge of OSHA standards and other relevant safety regulations.Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively train and engage team members on safety protocols.Attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
