Your Role as a Respiratory Therapist

Set up and operate ventilators and respiratory care equipment

Administer oxygen therapy and aerosol medications as prescribed

Monitor patient responses, assess vital signs, and adjust care plans

Assist residents with breathing exercises and trach care

Ensure equipment is functioning properly and safely

Accurately document care and communicate with the interdisciplinary team

Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory care best practices

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program

Active Ohio Respiratory Care Practitioner License (RRT preferred)

Experience in ventilator management or long-term care a plus

Strong clinical judgment and a compassionate, patient-centered approach

A desire to be part of a supportive team environment
