Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours / week

Unit Overview

Specialty : Oncology

Provides care for adult oncology patients, including chemotherapy administration, symptom management, and patient education

Works collaboratively with oncologists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care

Responsibilities

Administer chemotherapy and other prescribed medications according to protocols

Monitor patients for adverse reactions and manage side effects

Perform assessments, documentation, and patient education

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care

Maintain compliance with safety and infection control standards

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Oncology nursing experience – REQUIRED

BLS (AHA) – REQUIRED

ACLS – REQUIRED

Chemotherapy Certification – REQUIRED

Ability to work independently and in a high-acuity environment

Previous travel nursing experience preferred
