The Jr. Electrical Engineer is responsible for supporting the design, analysis, and implementation of electrical power systems and infrastructure for operations in government facilities. Under the guidance of senior engineers, this role ensures that all facility systems operate efficiently and effectively, and that maintenance policies and procedures are implemented to support site operations. The engineer will provide technical guidance, ensure regulatory compliance, create and review electrical design drawings.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Assist with the design and layout of power distribution systems, including medium- and low-voltage networks.
• Develop and update single-line diagrams , protection and control schematics , and equipment specifications .
• Participate in field inspections, functional testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and components.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (civil, mechanical, systems, outside vendors) for integrated infrastructure project delivery.
• Assist in evaluating and specifying electrical components such as transformers , switchgear , and UPS systems .
• Review and contribute to the creation of engineering documentation, technical reports, maintenance policies, and design packages.
• Support power system studies such as load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and grounding.
• Gain experience with SCADA systems , substation design , and renewable energy system integration .
• Utilize AutoCAD , Revit MEP , and Microsoft Office tools for documentation and design tasks.

Pay Range :

Pay Range $67,600.00 - $122,200.00
