Parks and Recreation Part Time Manager on Duty

The Neshannock Township Board of Supervisors are seeking applicants for the position of a part-time manager on duty for Hess Ice Rink. All applicants must pick up an application packet between the hours of 9-3 at the Neshannock Township

Municipal Building, 3131 Mercer Road, Neshannock Twp, PA 16105. This is a part time evening, weekend, and holidays manager on duty Sunday through Saturday.

This position will assist facility management, parks and recreation team, and skating director to ensure all ice rink programs, or scheduled activities operate on time as scheduled daily.

The Manager on Duty will make sure all employees are working at their assigned locations to make sure all areas of the facility are operating efficiently.

The Manager on Duty may need to drive the Zamboni or sharpen skates as needed in employee absences. (We will train) The Manager on Duty will advise management of any problems with equipment, employees or customers as needed.

The Manager on Duty will assist management in upholding the rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the Hess Ice Rink.

The Manager on Duty will assist in creating a positive and professional atmosphere by displaying a professional appearance and demeanor, while demonstrating superior customer service skills, attention to detail and pride in

producing a first-class experience for our customers, skate instructors, hockey and figure skating programs and employees.

Minimum qualifications : Knowledge of ice skating and ice rink operations. Experience working with staff and customers at a large facility. Cash Handling experience is preferred. Flexible shifts include early mornings, midday, evening,

weekends and holidays. Pay rate will be based on experience and qualifications. The applicant must possess a valid drivers license. PA Criminal background checks will be required. May be subject to drug and alcohol testing.

No applications will be mailed and no telephone calls to the municipal office regarding the position will be accepted. The application must be returned to the Neshannock Township Municipal Building by noon December 3, 2025.
