Job Description & Requirements Specialty : CVICU Discipline : RN Duration : 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel (957493) ALSO HAVE DAY SHIFT AVAILABLE Hospital : Research Medical Center Location : Kansas City, MO Address : 2316 E Meyer Blvd Unit Name : ICU General Information Unit Specifics : Number of Beds : 32 Patient Ratios : 2 : 1 Documentation system : Meditech Comprehensive Stroke Center Level 1 Trauma Center Requested Skill Set : Must have : Experience with CABG, heart valve repair or replacement, aortic reconstruction, acute myocardial infarction, acute decompensated heart failure, cardiogenic shock severe arrythmias, cardiac infections like myocarditis and pericarditis, complex vascular conditions, such as aortic dissection. IABP / impella experience. Trauma patient management, IV administration of vasoactive medications, ventilator management, chest tube management, care of post-op surgical patients, cardiac rhythm identification and management, hemodynamic monitoring, care of stroke patient Procedures performed on unit : CRRT, ECMO, IABP, Impella , Chest tube placement, ventriculostomy, moderate sedation, CRRT, therapeutic hypothermia; ECMO, arterial line and central line placement, pulmonary artery catheters (e.g., Swan-Ganz) Certifications Required : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (preferred but not required- TNCC) Dress Code : (Required uniform) Top- Navy scrub top (no t-shirts, must be scrub top) Bottoms- Navy or black scrub bottoms Jackets- Navy, White, or Black (solid colors) Undershirts-Navy, White, or Black (solid colors) About HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA At HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, healthcare is not just about the four walls of a facility but about the people who provide and receive care.
