Job Description

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Post in Albuquerque, NM , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Professional in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming visitors and assisting with access control and badge procedures. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Assist with visitor management, including logging guests and issuing visitor badges as required by site policies.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, guests, and / or vendors to address inquiries or direct them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with Allied Universal and client contacts as needed.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and / or unusual activities according to company and client procedures.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred, subject to state and / or local laws and regulations.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
