Montessori Certified Preschool Teacher

This position will start as an assistant floating teacher during the current 2024-2025 school year, to be a lead teacher 2025-2026 school year based on the candidate's experience.

Requirements :

AMS / AMI Montessori Certification for ages 2.5-6 or other MACTE credentialed Montessori certification

At least 1 year of experience working in a Montessori classroom.

A love of working with children is a must.

Patience, caring, and kindness are required traits.

BA in any field, Early Childhood Education preferred

CPR / First Aid certification.

Able to lift a child approximately 40 lbs. several times daily if needed.

Physical ability to sit on the floor with children when needed.

Job Type : This is a contract position running from September 1 through June 30.

Full-time, 8 : 00am to 4 : 00pm, (As a lead teacher, to start will be Part-Time and hours will vary)

Pay is based on experience and education.
