Novant Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our team. This role works directly with radiologists and staff to prepare patients and operate CT equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic scans. Responsibilities
Prepare patients for CT procedures and explain the process clearly
Safely and effectively operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images
Adapt procedures to meet the age-specific needs of patients
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Collaborate with radiologists and team members to ensure exceptional care
Support a safe, patient-centered environment in line with “First Do No Harm” principles
Education
Required : High School Diploma or GED, Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology
Preferred : Associate Degree
Inpatient requirement : Graduate of a JCERT-accredited school of Radiology and / or military health system program
Certification Path :
If not CT-registered, must complete ARRT post-primary certification in CT within 12 months of hire (18 months for incumbents in CT Tech roles)
Experience
Licensure / Certification
Required : ARRT, CT Registry (if outpatient – IDTF or HOPD)
Preferred : CT Registry (if inpatient)

Strong analytical ability and basic computer skills
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt procedures to meet patient-specific needs
