Qualifications

Education

Graduate of an approved Sonography program

Experience

Minimum : One (1) year experience as a Sonographer

Registry

Registered with ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography) BLS also required.

Responsibilities

As a Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer, you will utilize ultrasound equipment to help create quality images for obstetrical and gynecologic physicians to interpret during exams. This aspect of perinatal care includes setting up and adjusting diagnostic equipment, educating patients, verifying the accuracy of patient information, and performing technical data entry as necessary. Maternal fetal medicine sonographers focus on taking diagnostic images and matters directly related to that.
