Senior Tax Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team on a contract basis. This role is based in Waltham, Massachusetts, and offers the flexibility of remote or local work arrangements. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review high-net-worth individual tax returns with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Manage corporate tax filings, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Handle sales and use tax returns, addressing any discrepancies or issues proactively.
• Utilize Pro Systems fx for tax preparation and reporting tasks.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of all tax-related deadlines.
• Analyze financial data and documents to identify tax-saving opportunities.
• Provide guidance on tax-related matters to clients or internal stakeholders.
• Stay informed on current tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Resolve tax-related issues and respond to inquiries from authorities or clients.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting, including individual and corporate tax preparation.
• Proficiency with Pro Systems fx software is required.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations, including sales and use tax compliance.
• Proven ability to handle high-net-worth tax returns with precision.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for client interactions or team collaboration.
• CPA certification or relevant accounting qualification is preferred.
