Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager – Mid-Market Accounts (Syracuse, NY)
Salary: $85,000 – $105,000 base + full benefits
Work Setting: Hybrid or In-Office (Syracuse, NY)

Systems: EPIC, TAM, or AMS360 required

A respected independent agency in Syracuse is seeking a Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a seasoned insurance professional who excels at managing complex accounts and delivering high-level client service in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee a book of small to mid-sized commercial P&C accounts with a strong focus on retention, renewals, and client satisfaction.

• Provide expert advice on coverage options, risk exposures, claims handling, and policy changes.

• Quote and market new and renewal business using carrier relationships and online rating systems.

• Partner with producers and underwriters to secure comprehensive, competitively priced coverage solutions.

• Maintain accurate and organized documentation to ensure compliance and streamlined service.

• Resolve client issues efficiently while fostering long-term relationships.

• Mentor junior account managers or support staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of commercial lines experience in an independent agency environment.

• Active Property & Casualty License (NY).

• Proficiency in EPIC, TAM, or AMS360 is required.

• Strong technical knowledge of commercial P&C coverages, markets, and carrier guidelines.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).

• Professional designations such as CIC, CRIS, or CPCU are preferred.
