Lead Case Manager - Insurance Coverage

Description

This is an in-person position. The office is located at Maine Medical Center, Portland, ME.

The Lead Case Manager - The Lead performs all functions of the Case Manager - Insurance Coverage role. This position is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented team member ready to step into a leadership role. The Lead Case Manager will serve as a peer resource, support onboarding, assist with complex cases, and help uphold quality and consistency in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

• Serve as a point of support for case managers regarding documentation, workflows, and best practices
• Assist with onboarding and mentoring new team members
• Support informal case reviews and help identify training needs
• Promote adherence to workflows and process improvement
• Foster communication and collaboration across the team
• Participate in meetings and disseminate relevant information or updates to team members as needed
