Donor Communications Specialist (Contract, Environmental Nonprofit)

Job Description

The Choice is seeking an experienced temporary Donor Communications & Stewardship Specialist for our client, a prominent, global conservation organization. This person will play a role in designing, implementing and executing donor communications to advance a culture of philanthropy.

This a temporary position to provide parental leave coverage. We are seeking candidates who can fully commit to a contract position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of communications, fundraising, and / or donor relations experience preferably with a non-profit.
• Commitment to environmental conservation
• Exceptional customer service and project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including writing and copyediting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Must be DMV-area based.

Key Responsibilities

Location : Washington, DC (Hybrid : 2 days in-office)

Salary : $34-36 hour

Type of position : Temporary (6 month parental leave cover)
