Gallery Media Group is hiring : Social Media Strategist in New York

Gallery Media Group is a modern day media company with an overall mission to 'Make Positivity Louder.' GMG focuses efforts on where consumer attention currently lies and continues to shift.

Gallery Media Group includes women's lifestyle brand PureWow and a collection of social-first media brands, such as @cocktails and @ballplayers on Instagram and TikTok that reach over 200M consumers. Additionally, GMG has an expansive experiential arm rooted in Gallery Houses-a fusion of social content, creators and cultural moments at scale-as well as a robust influencer marketing business.

The company was founded in 2010 by CEO, Ryan Harwood and is now part of VaynerX, the Gary Vaynerchuk-owned holding company.

We are looking for a mid-level social strategist to help develop, implement and execute social media strategy for a brand's TikTok and Instagram handles. Working as part of the Growth team, the Social Media Strategist will be the point person for said brand, who engages GMG to strategize, build, grow, and run their social channels.

Roles & responsibilities :

• You will analyze the relevant social landscape for opportunities and create content strategies that align with the overall brand goals, KPIs, and priorities accordingly.
• You will work with internal social media and audience development editors to ideate content plans and schedule for client approval.
• You will be responsible for delivering multiple pieces of content daily in-line with client expectations, standards, and feedback.
• You will apply your strong understanding of social platforms to ideate on quick, reactive content that capitalizes on trending sounds and hashtags.
• You will be responsible for daily community management and account engagement.
• You will produce regular reporting and analysis for internal and external stakeholders for the social campaigns you manage, inclusive of detailed content analysis and strategic recommendations.

Base Salary

$65,000-$80,000 USD
