Description :

The traveler will be scheduled in accordance with facility policy.

The traveler is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with facility employees.

Candidates with 2+ years of experience are acceptable.

Cardiac experience is required.

The facility features 13 main operating rooms and 2 cardiac operating rooms.

Patient ratios are 1 : 1 with 1 RN and 1 CST per room, supported by turnover staff and a charge RN.

Anesthesia coverage is provided at a ratio of 4 : 1.

The facility utilizes advanced surgical equipment including an XI robot and Mako joint robot.

Documentation is completed using a Meditech system.

Scheduling requirements include 8-10 call shifts (12 hours) Monday through Friday and 24-hour shifts on weekends for a specified period.

Main OR shifts include 3 call shifts (12 hours) every 4 weeks.

Day and night shifts are available with no floating policy required.

Experience in the operating room includes surgical procedures in general, trauma, ortho, urology, GYN, plastics, and neuro.

The preferred candidate will have experience with complex thoracic procedures, including AAA repairs, valve replacements, and CABG.

Ability to position and prepare patients for complex surgeries is essential.

Candidates are expected to demonstrate general circulating knowledge, including prepping, assisting, and facilitating surgeries.
