Transportation Manager
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 7 : 30am-4 : 30pm

The Transportation Manager is responsible for :
- Managing driver operations & contracted transportations services, ensuring safe, timely, and efficient transportation services for all PACE Participants.
- Upholds high standards of safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance of transportation services.
- Conduct initial and ongoing training for drivers and the PACE team on emergency preparedness.
- Develop transportation plan for each enrolled participant to meet their needs and safety standards.
What is PACE?
PACE or Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly is a federal and state funded program that provides comprehensive, coordinated, and proactive whole-person care to help maintain and improve seniors' health so they can live safely in their homes. There are 188 PACE programs, serving more than 86,000 participants in 33 states and the District of Columbia.
The number of people aged 55+ is increasing in Grand Junction, CO and the demand for eldercare professionals is on the rise.
You Bring :
3 years of supervisory experience or documented progressive leadership responsibilities required, experience in transportation setting preferred.Minimum of 1 year of experience working (paid or volunteer) with the elderly is preferred.Valid Colorado driver’s license and unlimited access to reliable transportation.Maintains PASS (Passenger Assistance Safety and Sensitivity) driver and trainer certification throughout employment.Ability to address complaints or concerns promptly and emphaticallyMust be 25 years of age or older.Must meet and maintain eligibility under the HopeWest driving requirement policy and motor vehicle insurance.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Effectively and respectfully communicate both verbally and in writing in a multitude of situations and settings, including highly emotional interactions.Effectively work with and build relationships with others.Personal commitment to working with diverse customers and colleagues.Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Physically access any home / environment (i.e. navigate stairs, narrow spaces, etc.).We Offer :
