    • Job Summary

    The Phlebotomist / Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) represents the face of the company to patients who come in for laboratory testing-whether as part of their routine care or for critical diagnostic needs. The PSR II performs high-quality blood draws and specimen preparation while maintaining a professional, safe, and compassionate environment. This position requires strong phlebotomy skills , attention to detail, and the ability to build trust and confidence with patients.

    The PSR II will demonstrate leadership behaviors and uphold confidentiality, process accuracy, and patient care excellence in every interaction.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established procedures.
  • Verify patient demographic information and ensure all tubes are labeled correctly in the patient's presence.
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation of collections.
  • Adhere to company policies , dress code, and health and safety guidelines .
  • Maintain a safe and professional environment at all times.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to patients, coworkers, and healthcare providers.
  • Travel between assigned locations as needed to cover patient service centers or in-office collections.
  • Uphold HIPAA and confidentiality standards when handling patient information.
  • Attend training and maintain required certifications.

    • Job Requirements

  • Ability to produce accurate, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills , including pediatric and geriatric experience.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage .
  • Must demonstrate strong customer focus , open communication, and adaptability to change.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if travel is required).
  • Capable of multitasking and managing priorities in high-volume settings.

    • Required Education & Certification

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, and WA.

    • Work Experience

  • 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center preferred.
  • Customer service experience in a retail or healthcare setting highly preferred.
  • Keyboarding and data entry proficiency required.

    • Shift Details

  • Schedule : 8 : 00 AM - 1 : 00 PM, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
  • Part-time, onsite
