Description

Location : Norwich, Connecticut

Schedule : Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9 am - 5 pm, Wednesday 9 -4 pm

We're looking for a skilled Phlebotomist to join a busy patient service center in Norwich, CT. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with patients and is confident handling phlebotomy independently in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

  • Perform blood draws for patients of all ages throughout the day
  • Follow strict safety and sterilization protocols
  • Correctly label, log, and prepare specimens for testing
  • Enter specimen data accurately into the computer system
  • Ensure all samples are processed and transported properly

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience (busy environment preferred)
  • Phlebotomy certification
  • Strong knowledge of venipuncture and lab safety procedures
  • Comfortable working independently in a medium-volume setting

  • 1 round (30 minutes) with the Phlebotomy Manager
  • Flexible scheduling : in-person or virtual options available

This requirement is directly related to essential job functions including but not limited to : providing direct patient care, accessing medical and confidential records, accessing and administering prescription medication or other drugs, working within a clinical setting, handling sharp instruments, conducting medical procedures, and working within departments that care for vulnerable populations, such as, minors, elderly and those with physical or mental disabilities.
