Split Shift Caregiver

Palmetto Family Homecare is hiring for Personal Care Assistant for Part-Time position in the Columbia area.

Current Position :

Monday - Friday_ (Split Shift) 7am-8 : 30am & 4pm-6 : 30pm

Saturday : 9am-1pm

Responsibilities :

Offer elderly companionship and conversation

Assistance with various Activities of Daily Living duties (bathing, dressing, and grooming, etc.) depending on the level of care of the client.

Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation

Appointment management & reminders

Requirements to Join Our Family :

HHA, PCA, or CNA Certification preferred

Alzheimer's or Dementia experience is a plus

At least one (1) year of documented caregiver experience

Must be reliable, dependable and on time

Valid drivers license, reliable transportation, means of communication

Must be able to provide compassionate, quality and dependable home care services

Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Hoyer Lift Experience is a PLUS but will train
