Overview :
Housing Hope and HopeWorks agencies are the largest non-profit developer of affordable housing and provider of human services in Snohomish County and Camano Island. Our mission is to promote and provide affordable housing and tailored services to reduce homelessness and poverty for residents of Snohomish County and Camano Island. We achieve this through a variety of interventions including wrap around services, tailored case management, children’s services, subsidized housing opportunities, adult life skills classes, and access to employment, education, and on-the-job training support.
Purpose :
The primary duties of the Mental Health Therapist are to provide high quality assessment, planning, and therapeutic services to assist our residents to improve their mental health and well-being empowering them to increase housing stability, income, and family management skills. This is a time of transition and opportunity for the Human Services team at Housing Hope. We are excited to welcome new team members’ ideas and contributions as we redefine and shape our services model of support and delivery for our participants.
Essential Functions :

- Provide strength-based trauma informed therapeutic sessions to families and individuals.
- Provide strength-based trauma informed therapeutic groups as needs arise.
- Provide accurate clinical notes documentation in a timely manner. Experience with Therapy Notes Software is preferred.
- Provide mental health resources to other departments and programs.
- Establish and build relationships with other community mental health providers and programs.
- Implement practices consistent with supporting families who have experienced adverse childhood experiences and other traumas.
- Participate in case consultation meetings with clients’ primary case managers.
- Attend interagency and networking meetings as appropriate.
- Actively participate in creating a positive work environment for all employees.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned and required by program model and funding.
Required :
Master’s degree in Mental Health or related degree.Mental Health License or associate licenses with a mental health supervisor you are meeting with weekly OR a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (Housing Hope is unable to provide clinical supervision at this time).Understanding of ACES, Trauma Informed Care, and Motivational Interviewing.Washington Driver’s LicenseAbility to work effectively with individuals of differing skills and backgrounds.Ability to promote a positive, professional, collaborative work environment.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Ability to work some evenings when required.Preferred :
