We are seeking a dynamic and skilled individual to join our team as a Daytime Prep Cook. This versatile role encompasses various responsibilities, including cooking, food preparation, and supporting front-of-house operations. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Cooking and Food Preparation :

Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.

  • Ensure all food products are fresh, properly portioned, and consistently high in quality.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet customer expectations and maintain efficient service.
  • Front-of-House Support :

    • Assist with food running during peak hours to ensure timely delivery of orders to customers.

  • Coordinate with servers and other staff to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
  • Prep Work :

    • Conduct prep work on designated days (Monday and Wednesday) to ensure smooth operations during service hours.

  • Responsible for chopping, dicing, marinating, and other preparation tasks as assigned.
  • Schedule and Availability :

    • Work 30-40 hours per week, with the flexibility to work 5-6 days as needed.

  • Maintain a consistent and reliable presence during daytime shifts.

    • MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    Experience, knowledge, and skills required :

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Ability to multitask and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
