Your mission
- Translate customer requirements and prints into accurate jig and fixture builds
- Lay out designs across varied materials; determine unspecified dimensions
- Establish reference points and tooling holes using straightedges and precision measurement
- Lead technicians assembling aerospace tooling; ensure quality at every checkpoint
- Repair / rework tools to restore performance
- Produce quick sketches for the fabrication team and operate manual machines as needed (lathes, Bridgeport mills, grinders)
- Support additional assignments as they arise
What you'll need to succeed
5+ years of experience building fixtures in aerospaceDeep knowledge of GD&T and the ability to read complex blueprintsStrong math, clear written and verbal communicationExcellent organization and follow-up disciplineComfort working to deadlines and understanding downstream impactsExperience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards preferredCATIA V5 and ENOVIA familiarity is advantageousHigh school diploma or equivalentBroader skill set we value
