GD&T-Focused Fixture Build Technician, Aerospace

Are you the person who can study a blueprint, solve the missing dimensions, and guide a team to deliver production-ready tooling? If you thrive in hands-on environments and care deeply about tolerances, this role is for you.

Your mission

• Translate customer requirements and prints into accurate jig and fixture builds
• Lay out designs across varied materials; determine unspecified dimensions
• Establish reference points and tooling holes using straightedges and precision measurement
• Lead technicians assembling aerospace tooling; ensure quality at every checkpoint
• Repair / rework tools to restore performance
• Produce quick sketches for the fabrication team and operate manual machines as needed (lathes, Bridgeport mills, grinders)
• Support additional assignments as they arise
