Senior Backup Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Backup Engineer - Cyber Vault & Data Protection.

Key Responsibilities

Design, operate, and improve cyber-resilient backup and recovery platforms, including Dell PowerProtect DD and Cyber Recovery

Lead backup and restore processes, ensuring compliance with RPO / RTO standards and conducting recovery drills

Implement automation using Python and Ansible for provisioning and compliance checks

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in enterprise backup / recovery or storage, with 3-5+ years in L3 roles

Proficiency in Dell PowerProtect DD, Dell Cyber Recovery, CyberSense, and Cobalt Iron

Experience with IBM TSM / Spectrum Protect for advanced backup / restore operations

Knowledge of automation tools like Python and Ansible

Understanding of change control, compliance frameworks, and vulnerability management
