What You'll Own
You're leading origination from end to end-sourcing deals, building relationships, structuring transactions, and deploying capital within a disciplined investment mandate. This platform already manages over $900 million in assets and is targeting further growth across property types and markets.
You'll take charge of the entire origination lifecycle, managing pipeline and pace, while expanding strategic relationships across the country. You'll shape how the team sources, underwrites, and structures complex credit deals-from construction loans to mezzanine and preferred equity.
Your Day-to-Day
Deal Origination & Relationship Building
- Source commercial real estate credit investments aligned with fund goals
- Maintain a network of high-producing intermediaries : brokers, sponsors, mortgage bankers
- Uncover deal flow across multifamily, industrial, office, and niche asset classes
- Represent the platform in-market and on stage-conferences, events, panels
Structuring & Execution
Lead negotiation and execution of bridge loans, construction debt, mezz, and pref equityPartner with internal teams across underwriting, legal, and asset managementPrioritize the pipeline, streamline communication, and eliminate bottlenecksStay fluent in debt market dynamics : pricing, structures, risk spreads, competitor behaviorLeadership & Team Strategy

10 years in real estate debt origination, ideally within a private credit or non-bank platformClosed over $500M in aggregate deal volumeDeep network of repeat borrowers, brokers, and industry partnersComfortable underwriting risk across different capital stack positionsConfident in the complexity of structured deals and entrepreneurial enough to build something betterEducation
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree welcomedCompensation
