Dietitian - PACE Program- Sioux City, IA

Schedule : Monday-Friday | 8 : 00 AM-4 : 30 PM

Employment Type : Full-Time

Hourly Rate : $28.00-$40.00 / hour

Sign-On Bonus : Up to $10,000

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Dietitian to join our PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) team. The Dietitian will assess, plan, and implement nutritional care for participants while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes. This role supports the health and wellness of older adults through evidence-based nutrition care and education.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate participants' nutritional and medical history, lab data, medications, and dietary intake.

Develop and implement personalized nutrition interventions to improve or maintain health status.

Complete nutritional assessments in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

Provide education to participants, caregivers, and staff on diet, food safety, and sanitation.

Document assessments, care plans, and interventions in the EMR.

Participate in daily interdisciplinary team meetings and case reviews.

Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education :

Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Food & Nutrition, or related field meeting the standards of the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

Completion of an accredited dietetic internship or coordinated program.

Licensure & Certifications :

Registered Dietitian (RD) or registration eligible with the CDR.

Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Iowa.

Current CPR / BCLS certification.

Adult Mandatory Reporter certification.

Food safety certification (e.g., ServSafe or equivalent) within 90 days of hire.

Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Experience & Skills :

Strong knowledge of nutrition and medical nutrition therapy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with participants, families, and the care team.

Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay : $28.00-$40.00 / hour (based on experience)
