Job Summary
The Network Administrator will be responsible for the daily operations of our networks, including configuration, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and security. The ideal candidate has a solid technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to network management.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and support LAN, WAN, and other network systems.
Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and other network / system problems.
Maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
Apply and enforce network security measures and best practices.
Manage IP address assignments and DNS configurations.
Create and maintain documentation for network configurations and procedures.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed.
Qualifications
Certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
1+ years of experience in network administration or a similar role.
Proficient with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking technologies.
Strong understanding of TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, and network monitoring tools.
Experience with Microsoft and / or Linux server environments.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
