Speechifys text-to-speech products turn PDFs, books, Google Docs, news articles, and websites into audio so people can read faster, read more, and remember more. With the growth of our Android app, we seek a Senior Android Engineer to support the expanding user base and work on new projects to push us forward. We value strategic thinkers who enjoy fast-paced environments and are passionate about making thoughtful product decisions and delivering high-quality user experiences.

What Youll Do

• Own major features and work closely with design to deliver high-quality features inside the Android app
• Shape the future of our Android team
• Own, maintain and improve reliability metrics for key features
• Participate in cross-team discussions (Product, Design, Engineering)
• Review pull requests and support teammates
• Handle critical issues or unexpected challenges
• Take ownership of feature releases and provide nightly builds for QA

The United States Based salary range for this role is : 140,000-200,000 USD / Year + Bonus + Stock depending on experience
