Responsibilities
- Serve as part of a 3?member technical team deploying 2040 new computers weekly.
- Replace and decommission old systems across client faculty and staff offices.
- Ensure efficient, thorough, and quick computer replacement with minimal user downtime.
- Deliver a positive user experience with new systems configured like the previous ones.
Required Skills
Exceptional customer service and attention to detail.Proficiency in configuring, troubleshooting, and using :Mac OS?XWindows?11MS Office / M365 (Windows & Mac)Google AppsNetworked and local printers, multifunction devices.Understanding of computer security best practices.Familiarity with Active Directory.Primary Duties
Deliver and set up new computers; remove old systems per client deployment process.Troubleshoot setup, configuration, distribution, and logistical issues.Migrate user data from old to new systems.Data storage and removal from returned systems.Hardware organization.Administer the TechCycle program to repurpose returned systems.Assist with imaging and configuration of computers.Track and maintain hardware inventory.Use client van for campus?wide computer pickups and drop?offs.Contribute to IT Asset Management (ITAM) initiatives and follow ITAM best practices.Help maintain office organization and cleanliness.Submit tickets in TeamDynamix for hardware / network issues.Monitor and manage tickets assigned to deployment technicians.Participate in team discussions and process improvement efforts.Provide users with information and support regarding their new systems.Experience Requirements
25 years of customer?facing technical support experience.Strong analytical and creative problem?solving skills.Experience supporting both Windows and Mac operating systems.Proven verbal and interpersonal communication skills.Dependable, professional demeanor with excellent customer service.Strong multitasking, organizational, time?management, and attention?to?detail skills.Experience in fast?paced environments is a plus.Ability to lift up to 30?lbs.Valid drivers license required.Preferred Technical Experience
