Youth Athletes United (YAU) is a leading educational sports program throughout the country. We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic youth sports coach to join their team. As a coach, you will work with small groups of children across various ages, developing their skills, physical literacy, and teamwork abilities. At YAU, we believe in using positive reinforcement and a low child-to-coach ratio to help each child feel confident, regardless of their age or skill level. With over 20 years of experience, we have a best-in-class curriculum that is specific and progressive to every child's developmental needs.

As a coach, your role will be instrumental in the development of children's gross motor skills and socialization skills, making a positive impact on their lives. Whether it's through classes, camps, afterschool enrichment, birthday parties, or team training, you will be part of making a difference in the lives of over 100,000 participants each year.

This job is perfect for part-time workers, retirees, high school and college students, stay-at-home parents, nanny, teachers, and anyone else with a flexible schedule who have a passion for sports, love working with young children, and wants to give back to their community! The ideal team member will have experience working in Pickleball, Tennis or Golf .

Schedules will vary but class times will typically fall between Monday-Friday : 2pm - 6pm (Depending on the location you live)

Weekend Classes for Additional Hours : 9am - 1pm

Compensation : Starting rate $25 an hour upon completion of coach test. Higher rates up to $35 will be reviewed in relation to experience.

Requirements

  • Passion for working with children and improving their physical literacy, gross motor skills, and socialization skills!
  • Strong sports background with general sports knowledge.
  • Must have reliable transportation as all programs are run at local schools and parks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with children and parents.
  • Must be punctual (classes are held after school in the afternoons and children are counting on you)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
