We have an open position as a commercial , life and / or personal lines new business sales representative. The position would require consistent outbound phone calls to prospective customers . Some lists and leads may be provided however there will be a need to generate your own leads for target markets, particulary in life and commercial. We can provide direction and assistance with that component. Furthermore, there could be instances where other staff are innundated and require some basic service support with existing customers. This could be in the form of a billing question, address change, or others. There will be base pay + commission and Bonus opportunity based on performance and sales. Competitive pay structure and commission structure . Base pay will depend on experience but will be awarded higher pay as fast as it can be justified.

Responsibilities

Following a strategy and committing to making enough consistent outbound phone calls, and following all telemarketing laws that apply. We scrub phone numbers against a do-not-call registry before calling and this is strictly enforced. There are other business leads that can be generated through many outside and internal sources which meet our needed target class codes for eligibility.

Requirements

• Consistancy in following procedures given
• Attendance / Punctuality ( showing up on time)
• Property & Casualty License
• Must have a California life insurance or P&C License to start.
• General Insurance Knowledge and willingness to always expand that knowledge as the industry is ever changing
• Business Ethics to the highest degree
• Willingness to work and focus on the task assigned
• Propensity to be self motivated and will not take motivation away from others in the office by becoming a distraction, or one who brings with them negativity that will carry to others in the office.
