Export And Logistics Manager

This role will support Aviagen's strategic vision by establishing a world-wide product delivery model that allows Aviagen to meet customer expectations and properly navigate international trade and logistics. Aviagen's Export and Logistics is a critical process for the company's overall business model. The global complexities of our supply chain require a disciplined approach to processes, systems and technology. Success will be demonstrated by creating a robust, sustainable and predictable model which creates a seamless customer experience, and real-time process management and delivery for international orders.

Create global and sustainable customer access by leveraging people, processes and technology.

Work cross functionally to identify and drive process improvements related to the Aviagen customer experience where international orders are required to meet customer demand.

Maintain the Aviagen's Trade Compliance Program to ensure a program of standard methodologies consistent with export / import laws and global trade-related requirements for all business regions.

Ensure global trade compliance across the Aviagen supply chain. Set appropriate strategy to drive both trade compliance and scalable business solutions.

Conduct analysis and benchmarking of the customer experience involving international shipments and identify any gaps in current performance.

Lead a global team and be well versed in managing remote employees across a variety of time zones.

Define solutions and services that are adopted and utilized by all Aviagen supply bases (regardless of geography, size, sophistication, etc.).

Create global and sustainable customer access by leveraging people, processes and technology.

Work directly with logistics cross-border carriers and partner with each stakeholder team to constantly improve the international delivery experience.

Propose and lead new projects to improve the customer experience.

Drive improvements and changes in global export and logistics to raise expectations of international customers.

Build relationships and act as key influencer within Commercial and Operations leadership and its cross functional partners.

Engage and influence stakeholders to remove barriers that impede successful improvement initiatives.

Seek and share best practices across the organization; seek out additional process improvement opportunities by leveraging best practices and information from other departments and teams.

Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) which establish the foundation for a professional, modern, and consistent experience for customers.
