We're looking for a Part time Physical Therapist Assistant to act as the patient's partner throughout the trip of restoring motion and ensuring that the client will function at their personal best . As a result, you will maximize the quality of life and movement potential within the promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment or intervention, and rehabilitation.

Boutique outpatient Physical Therapy clinic, specializing in senior orthopedics, pulmonary disorders, gait and balance training, and women's health, searching for part time PTA to be a part of this small patient- centered team. No weekends!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrate skill in the use and proper choice of physical therapy techniques and treats patients effectively with good response.

Maintains and enhances patient dignity and modesty during treatments

Completes daily documentation procedures assuring that all services are appropriately accounted for from a clinical and billing perspective.

If directed by the Physical Therapist, contacts physicians as needed to clarify diagnosis or orders, change treatment, or discharge.

Projects and maintains a professional appearance.

SKILLS

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Physical Therapy Assistants must possess an appropriate Associate of Science degree from an accredited institution

LICENSURE OR REGISTRY REQUIREMENTS

Physical Therapy Assistants must be licensed in the state practicing by the Board of Physical Therapy and provide an acceptable Criminal Background Check.
