Overview

CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer – Microsoft .NET opening for our client in Piscataway, NJ.

Location : Piscataway, NJ

Duration : 3 months

Duties :

Design, develop, and implement custom applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.

Translate IT requirements into functional and technical designs, models, components, and documentation.

Build and maintain applications using C#, VB.NET, MVC, ASP.NET, and Entity Framework.

Develop and manage databases including SQL Server, Azure SQL, and MySQL.

Write, test, and debug code, including performing unit testing and resolving defects.

Work with Continuous Development and Deployment frameworks, such as Microsoft DevOps tools.

Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

Ensure developed applications follow best practices for performance, security, and scalability.

Skills :

Strong proficiency in Microsoft .NET Framework, C#, and / or VB.NET.

Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, and web API development.

Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, Azure SQL, MySQL).

Familiarity with Agile methodology and DevOps tools for CI / CD.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.

Experience :

3–5 years of experience as a Microsoft .NET Application Developer.

Experience in developing end-to-end applications using the Microsoft custom development stack.

Hands-on experience with source control and DevOps pipelines.

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
