Field Project Operations Manager

divh2Manager Field Services/h2pAs the Manager Field Services, you will lead, direct, and execute the operational objectives of multiple projects to ensure timely completion of large projects in accordance with the customer contract, and must be skilled in heavy equipment operation. You will typically be assigned to multiple locations and multiple customers and must be geographically mobile and willing to relocate based upon customer projects./ppstrongResponsibilities:/strong/pulliSupervises, coordinates, or schedules activities of the field service staff/liliDirects achievement of performance objectives related to productivity, quality, service, and safety./liliMonitors workflow metrics and take corrective action as needed./liliBalances staff across various projects for fluctuating requirements./liliEnsures that all procedures are observed, implemented, enforced, and training is provided when necessary in the processing of all transactions./liliEnsures timely and accurate completion of all customer and inventory transactions./liliSafeguards inventory assets of the company maintains integrity of all transactions and maintains overall inventory accuracy above 99.5%./liliMaintains positive employee relations and morale while enforcing discipline as required./liliMonitors workflow, work completed, error rates and related metrics and takes appropriate action when required./liliFosters environment of continuous improvement in all aspects of the operation./liliImplements cost reduction initiatives where necessary./liliTravels to customers site as needed for equipment start-up, customer training, service issues, problem trouble shooting, and related service issues./liliDevelops best practices and standard tools to improve operational efficiency./li/ulpstrongQualifications:/strong/pulliHigh School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelors Degree preferred/liliLicenses/Certificates/Designations Forklift required; OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 preferred/lili5 years required of heavy equipment operation (forklift certified)./lili5 years required of supervision experience in a construction environment./liliStrong knowledge of inventory control processes./liliKnowledge of electrical, construction, or mechanical products./liliStrong time management skills./liliStrong communication and interpersonal skills./liliBasic computer skills./liliAbility to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions./liliAbility to operate hand and power tools and equipment./liliMust be geographically mobile and willing to relocate based upon customer projects./liliAbility to anticipate and prepare for customer needs is preferred./liliAbility to adapt to changing situations and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously is preferred./liliAbility to travel up to 25%/li/ulpstrongWorking Environment:/strong/pulliOutside Sales Work is generally performed in an office environment, but employee may need to travel to customer sites or warehouse facilities.
