About The Position

Must-Have : Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.

Traveler experience is accepted for first-time travelers.

Locals are accepted with a rate difference.

Description :

The successful candidate will work in a Labor and Delivery unit.

This role requires fetal heart monitoring skills.

Strong experience is necessary due to the autonomy required in this department.

The unit accommodates both mother and baby care.

Candidates should expect to float to MedSurg and assist with various tasks as needed.

The patient-to-nurse ratio ranges from 1 : 1 to 1 : 2.

A minimum of two major holiday shifts is required.

Candidates with experience in higher acuity or high-risk cases will be prioritized.

The environment is not overly busy, with approximately 100 births last year.

Charting will be completed using established systems.

Two manager or supervisor references from within the past 12 months are preferred.

Candidates must be comfortable floating based on the job description without restrictions.

Attention to detail and strong patient care skills are essential for success in this role.
