Mammography Technologist II - Per Diem

Hourly Pay Range :

$35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Position : Mammography Technologist II
• Location : Elmhurst Center for Health Site
• Floating Locations : Addison, Hinsdale, Lombard, Oak Park
• Per Diem / PRN
• Hours : 7am-3 : 30pm, 8am-4 : 30 pm, 9am-5 : 30pm or 10am-6 : 30pm
• 1-2 Saturdays per month

What you will do :

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, operates radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs used by physicians to detect and treat breast cancer. In doing so, positions patients, adjusts x - ray equipment to correct setting for each examination, and evaluates films quality. Tests radiologic equipment and maintains quality assurance records. Performs related office duties as necessary. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job, being attentive of eye contact, facial / body expressions and tone of voice. Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
