Plant SQE / Convergence Leader

Convergence Leaders are exposed to parts and processes throughout the vehicle assembly.  As a Convergence Leader, you will utilize your skills to bring together a cross functional team of Stellantis and supplier personnel to identify Program readiness opportunities for new / future programs and problem resolution opportunities for day to day assembly operations.

The Supplier Quality Engineer / Convergence Leader’s job responsibilities include but not limited to :

• Work cross functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing to ensure incoming part quality from the supply base is fluid
• Drive change within both Plant Manufacturing and Component Suppliers to resolve component related issues
• Ensure component supplier processes are robust and capable while enforcing clean points and permanent corrective actions
• Support warranty reduction initiatives through Obeya and Supplier Obeya initiatives
• Develop and present status updates and articulate open issues to senior leadership
• Drive supplier commitment and challenge action plans associated to quality for supplier manufacturing related issues
