Production Planner and Scheduler

Are you a natural organizer who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Join our client's team as a Production Planner and Scheduler, where you'll play a key role in keeping our thermoforming, foam, and print operations running smoothly and efficiently.

In this role, you'll be the heartbeat of our partner company's production flow - balancing schedules, materials, and priorities to meet customer needs and maximize performance. You'll collaborate closely with corporate planning, sales, and operations to ensure the right materials, at the right time, for the right production lines.

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 6am - until finished

Salary : $65,000 - $75,000 / yr.

Key Responsibilities :

• Plan and schedule production across foam, straw, cutlery, and specialty product lines - including extruders.
• Partner with corporate planning and customer service to hit production deadlines and optimize equipment utilization.
• Track order flow, prioritize production for constrained capacities, and keep communication clear across departments.
• Manage raw material inventories and coordinate timely procurement of materials like foam beads, plastic pellets, boxes, inks, and repair parts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers - from negotiating contracts to ensuring timely deliveries.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable to ensure accurate order receipts and documentation.
