We’re seeking a Senior Architectural Project Manager to lead the design and delivery of a groundbreaking pediatric healthcare facility—the first freestanding children’s hospital in the state—developed in partnership with two of the region’s most prestigious academic health systems.

What You’ll Do

Lead multidisciplinary teams through all phases of design and construction, from concept to completion.

Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule alignment.

Serve as the primary client contact, building strong relationships and guiding strategic project decisions.

Facilitate design workshops and coordination meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Oversee staffing, workload distribution, and project financials to ensure successful delivery.

Collaborate with leadership across operations, accounting, and business development.

Uphold rigorous quality assurance and control standards throughout the project lifecycle.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Registered Architect certification.

12+ years of architectural experience, including 5+ years in project management.

Proven leadership in healthcare design—experience with hospitals or pediatric facilities is a major plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Revit; familiarity with project controls and drafting tools.

Strong communication, mentorship, and organizational skills.

Passion for sustainable design and LEED principles.

PMP certification is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.67 - $64.90 / hr.
