Overview
Job Description for Quality Manager level role focusing on QA / QC principles, risk management, and process improvement within project lifecycles.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with IT divisions, application development teams, enterprise architecture, and quality assurance units.
- Adhere to enterprise IT standards, policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Apply frameworks such as ISO 9001, IEEE 829, CMMI, or equivalent to ensure consistent QA / QC principles throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct Risk and Issue list reviews and contribute to drafting risk and issues to document concerns raised by the project team.
- Perform traceability matrix analysis.
- Evaluate system requirements (functional, non-functional, technical, security related, etc.).
- Conduct system test assessment and verification.
- Develop quality assurance task reports.
Qualifications
Minimum of two (2) years of experience serving as a Quality Manager on projects following the California Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) stage gate process.Two (2) years of experience developing and maintaining project metrics, conducting process audits to ensure project compliance with documented processes and standards, and conducting process improvement initiatives.Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master or ITIL certification.Experience with frameworks such as ISO 9001, IEEE 829, CMMI, or equivalent, ensuring consistent application of QA / QC principles throughout the project lifecycle.Equal Opportunity
