Producer Compensation Associate I Job at Americo Financial Life and Annuity in K

Americo is looking for a Producer Compensation Associate I to join our team! The Producer Compensation Associate I is responsible for supporting collections and compensation functions by calculating commissions, negotiating debt balances, responding to inquiries, and ensuring accurate and timely payments.

Key Responsibilities

Understand foundational principles of commissions and collections, using general accounting knowledge to resolve complex agent account issues

Calculate manual commissions and make necessary adjustments to agent accounts across multiple systems (AWD, MS Access, etc.)

Answer inbound calls from internal and external customers to negotiate debt, explain commission details, and provide timely responses

Conduct research and resolve commission or debt-related inquiries with accuracy and professionalism

Prepare, interpret, and distribute reports relating to both commissions and collections

Assist with 1099 research, review, and processing, and participate in departmental objectives and collection calls as needed

Maintain service level agreements

Continuously seek opportunities to reduce errors, streamline processes, and improve customer satisfaction

Provide ad hoc support as requested by management

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Strong focus on providing excellent customer service

Ability to produce accurate results in a timely manner

Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize work, ensuring timely completion of all tasks

Independent problem-solving abilities

Ability to work in a team environment

Proficient in MS Word and Excel

Typing speed of at least 40 wpm

4 year degree or equivalent professional experience
