Family law firm with excellent reputation seeking a family law associate.

The most important skill we are looking for is excellent client relationship skills. From the initial conference through the last day of trial, a successful applicant will be a master at managing the client. You should be personable and polished, and able to win and keep your clients' respect.

This is not firm that values volume, but a firm that values craftsmanship and excellence. A successful applicant will have an excellent attention to detail, be organized, hate imperfection, and take true pride in their work.

You should have at least 2-5 years of heavy family law experience, including significant courtroom experience. In this position, with help from your paralegal, you will handle the case from beginning to end, including motion drafting and court appearances. As for your knowledge of family law, preferably you are geeky and into code sections and the latest appellate court rulings. Must be tech savvy.

You control what cases you choose to accept, your hourly bill rate, and how many hours you want to bill. Compensation is based in part on hourly rate and in part billed-and-collected. Pick your hourly rate and how much you want to bill.
