We currently have an exciting opportunity for a phlebotomist to join our growing team in our Cumming office!

Monday-Friday, 8AM - 5PM, no nights or weekends

Duties may include but not limited to :

Preparing patients before drawing blood.
Explaining blood draw procedures to patients and answering any questions about the process.
Draw blood from patients.
Gathering medical testing materials, including needles, sample vials, blood storage bags and test tubes.
Verifying patient information and labeling blood samples properly.
Perform EKG's.
Place cardiac monitors on patients.
Accurately updating patient information in the organization's database.

Requirements :

Dependable team player is a must.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Data entry and computer skills.

Maintain a positive attitude with patients and co-workers under all conditions.

Sustain excellent attendance and avoid excessive absences and / or tardiness.

If not already a nationally certified phlebotomist, must gain certification within six months of employment.
