Surgical Technician / Tissue Processing Technician

The Surgical Technician / Tissue Processing Technician isresponsible for the sterilization of surgical equipment, arrange surgicalequipment and adjust medical tools to ensure that the surgical devices arefunctioning properly.

Minimum Requirements :

Surgical Technologist certification as applicable per stateand / or client requirement

One year experience as a Surgical Technician preferred(Tissue Processing Technologist - only)

Degree in biology related field which includes a degree / certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred

Current CPR if applicable

TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must have 2 years ofexperience

Must have BLS

Must have WA State licenseand either NBSTSA or IAHCSMM

Must have general, ortho,urology, vascular, gyn, neuro / spine, plastics exp
