Corporate Capital Markets - Associate (Mid-Level) - MIA

Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, offers a full‑time posting for a Capital Markets associate in its Miami office. The associate will work with clients of all sizes across a wide range of industries, handling U.S. and cross‑border securities offerings, including IPOs, high‑yield bonds, private placements, SPACs, REITs, and PIPEs.

Job Requirements

  • 2-6 years of significant experience in corporate transactions with an emphasis on Capital Markets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, maturity, and a proven willingness to accept significant responsibility and manage a challenging workload in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent academic credentials and writing skills.
  • Well‑versed in the mechanics of leading Capital Market transactions, experience leading due diligence teams, and general corporate and corporate governance experience.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team across practice areas and a willingness to train junior associates.
  • Candidate must be admitted to the Florida Bar or be eligible for admission.

Greenberg Traurig’s global Capital Markets Practice is recognized for handling U.S. and cross‑border transactions, including initial public offerings, high‑yield, and investment‑grade debt offerings, Rule 144A and Regulation S offerings for foreign private issuers, registered direct offerings, at‑the‑market offerings (ATMs), public and private equity line transactions, Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs), Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), and Private Investment in Public Entities (PIPEs). The firm represents U.S. and non‑U.S. public and private issuers, underwriters, financial institutions, venture capital funds, hedge funds, broker‑dealers, investment companies, and private investment firms in all aspects of U.S. and cross‑border securities offerings.
