Patriot Program Senior Quality Lead
The Patriot Program Senior Quality Lead in Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS), will provide oversight for US and / or foreign programs 24 / 7 Operations Product Line portfolio at our Andover, MA location. Responsibilities include promoting and executing with quality skills, knowledge sharing, and collaboration in a matrix organization. This individual will assist in implementation of Global Patriot strategic quality improvements across contracts. You will proactively engage with the product line and work in partnership with Program Leadership, Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Operations, Deployed Teams and the Quality team. This role will work to ensure the effective implementation of Quality and Mission Assurance requirements of the programs, and occasionally interface with U.S. Government Customers, Foreign Customers, and Suppliers. In this role you will primarily support proactive engagements across our factories and suppliers for the Global Patriot portfolio, implement quality processes to reduce overall product lifecycle cost and risk.
What You Will Do :
- Interface with the program quality teams, programs, suppliers, customers, and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), supporting technical, quality and financial performance, and compliance to Raytheon procedures and contractual requirements.
- Closely interface with external and internal customers and key partners to establish effective relationships.
- Must have the ability to manage and impact across multiple levels of stakeholders, as it is vital to the success of this role.
- Point of Contact for quality of delivered products and services to our customers, stakeholders of quality risks, uncertainties and opportunities, key team members in resolution of customer expectations and relationships related to Quality and Mission Assurance.
- Responsible for developing and implementing strategic and tactical Mission Assurance plans that will closely affect the programs' implementation and influence.
- Periodically report out to leadership teams providing updates to field planning information & updates on field issues, investigations and metrics.
- Partner with IPT Leads on In-country Repair, Depot Capabilities and sustainment strategy. Closely support Operational Readiness levels to ensure successful operational and product roadmaps for the customer.
- Monitor / lead root cause corrective action (RCCA) and FRACAS activities for systemic issues and to ensure extensive RCCA.
- Contribute as a quality leader on product sustainment activities for developmental and legacy programs.
- Responsible for improving processes or systems using reasoning, and interpretation skills. Problems and issues faced are numerous and undefined.
- Quality representative to 24 / 7 Operations Configuration Control Board (CCB).
- Review and provide inputs to Enhanced repair contracts, localization, depot repair guides, SICO Plan, MEI Inspection plans, (QNotes, special processes).
- Owner of the Field event tracker database including maintenance, communication of logged issues to appropriate stakeholders, ensure RCCA as applicable, Filter out product issues vs field issues, Factory containment as applicable based on fielded hardware issues, Field Bulletins.
- Proactive look at field data to predict issues and collaborate with appropriate functions to investigate, including FRACAS
Qualifications You Must Have :
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and eight (8) years of engineering and quality experience.Working experience with ISO 9001 and / or AS9100 Quality Management Systems.Working experience in providing technical program oversight for manufacturing / production and / or design processes.Experience working in a manufacturing environment (Operations quality, Manufacturing engineering)The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Qualifications We Prefer :
Six Sigma, Lean, CORE, or American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification.Active U.S. security clearance.Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.Experience in other functional areas such as engineering, supply chain, or operations.Experience using verbal and written communication and networking skills to work with upper management and customers.Hands-on experience in solving both business and technical problems.Experience as a team player who achieves goals and strives for continuous improvement.Experienced leader who exhibits presence and influence.Experience in contract flow and compliance.What We Offer :
