Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician / Industrial Electrician to join our team. This role is responsible for performing electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment, as well as supporting automation and PLC-controlled systems. The ideal candidate has a strong electrical background in a manufacturing environment, a passion for problem-solving, and experience working with modern control systems.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electronic systems, including motors, drives, sensors, and control panels.

Install, maintain, and modify electrical equipment in accordance with codes, safety regulations, and company standards.

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure maximum uptime and reliability of production equipment.

Support, program, and troubleshoot PLC and automation systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar).

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement equipment improvements and system upgrades.

Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

Maintain detailed maintenance and repair records within the CMMS system.

Assist with mechanical repairs as needed and contribute to cross-functional maintenance efforts.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as an Industrial Electrician or Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, automation, and PLC troubleshooting.

Hands-on experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs), sensors, relays, and control circuits.

Ability to interpret ladder logic and make minor PLC program adjustments.

Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems a plus.

Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Technical degree, electrical certification, or journeyman’s license preferred.
