Description :
The role involves working in the Interventional Radiology department.
The shift is from 07 : 30 AM to 06 : 00 PM, with occasional weeks extending to 07 : 00 AM to 07 : 30 PM.
Technologists will have a daily caseload of 5-8 cases.
On-call requirements include one weeknight every other week, along with 1-2 weekends within the contract.
Floating between service lines or sister facilities is not required.
Types of procedures include vascular access, embolization, dialysis work, and pulmonary embolism thrombectomy.
Preferred cases include Y90 implant and chemoembolization.
First-time travelers are welcome.
Candidates must possess a radiation badge.
Travelers should be aware that they may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November.
The facility maintains a Level 1 trauma designation.
Scrub color is navy, and scrubs are provided.
Charting is done using Epic.
Candidates must include all requested time off at the time of submission.
