About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

License : Current RN License

Certifications : BLS Certification required; ACLS and other relevant certifications preferred

Must-Have : Critical care / ICU level experience; experience with vents, vasoactive drips, and sedative drips required

Description :

The Registered Nurse (RN) protects, promotes, and optimizes health and abilities.

This role focuses on the prevention of illness and injury.

The RN alleviates suffering through diagnosis and treatment of human responses.

Advocacy in the care of individuals and families is a key responsibility.

The RN is accountable for compliance with all standards of practice.

Complying with nursing practice standards and regulatory requirements is expected.

Active participation in nursing governance and quality improvement initiatives is encouraged.

Engagement in professional development and mandatory education is required.

Nursing research and current evidence must be integrated into practice.

Supporting the learning environment for new employees and students is essential.
